About The Campaign

We believe The Village has always been more than a café. It is a home for community, creativity, entrepreneurship, and culture. For years, we have created spaces where people can gather, build relationships, launch ideas, discover opportunities, and feel a sense of belonging. Now, we are inviting our community to help us take the next step.

The Village Campaign is a community-powered effort to expand our impact and build the future of The Village. Through this campaign, we are raising support to develop our new community space, a  larger home that will allow us to serve more people, create more opportunities, and deepen our investment in Washington, DC's creative and entrepreneurial ecosystem.

This campaign is about more than a building. It is about creating an ecosystem where entrepreneurs can grow their businesses, artists can showcase their work, young people can access mentorship and workforce opportunities, and community members can gather in spaces designed for connection and collaboration.

Our vision includes expanded catering and pop-up operations, event and gathering spaces, creative studio abilities, workforce development programs, culinary initiatives, educational experiences, and community-centered programming that reflects the diversity and energy of our city.

Every contribution, partnership, event attendance, and act of support helps move this vision forward. Through campaign events, community activations, fundraising initiatives, and strategic partnerships, we are building this next chapter together — one person, one investment, and one opportunity at a time.

To raise the resources necessary to expand The Village into a larger, permanent space that increases access to community programming, entrepreneurial support, cultural experiences, workforce development, and creative opportunities for future generations.
